It is a fibre that is treated with an antibacterial treatment based on silver ions (active ingredient: phosphate glass containing silver). The silver ions prevent the proliferation of bacteria, thus eliminating unpleasant odours and maintaining the biological balance of the skin, while preserving hygienic freshness. Folkies® socks, with their special treatment, do not allow bacteria to multiply, so even with a heavy load you do not have to worry about skin diseases and unpleasant odours. The Prolen®Siltex fibre is characterised by its high durability and can be exposed even to inclement weather. Prolen®Siltex is a polypropylene fibre that has been produced in Slovakia since 1970 by Chemosvit Fibrochem s.r.o. At the same time, Prolen®Siltex fibre retains its colour fastness and the specially dyed fibre does not endanger your health.
