Antimicrobial additive in the fiber Prolen® Bodyfresh is permanent, does not leach into your skin and does not wash into wastewater as it does in surface antimicrobially treated fabrics such as cotton or polyester. Karpathia Trekking Thermal Socks® DCH Bodyfresh with drainage channel for trekking, sports and everyday wear. Composition: 53% cotton, 38% polypropylene Prolen®Bodyfresh, 9% elastane Prolen® Bodyfresh polypropylene fibre is treated with a permanent antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal treatment, active ingredient: pyrithione zinc. This active ingredient prevents the growth of microbes and moulds, reduces viruses and unpleasant odours and ensures hygienic freshness. The antimicrobial additive in Prolen® Bodyfresh fibre is permanent, does not leach into your skin and does not wash into wastewater as is the case with surface antimicrobial treated fabrics such as cotton or polyester. Certificates and test reports Antimicrobial properties are confirmed by certification according to AATCC 100:2019 (Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus). Antifungal properties (Aspergillus niger - Aspergillus niger - no growth) are confirmed by a test protocol according to AATCC 30 standard. Prolen® Bodyfresh meets the requirements of Oeko-tex® Standard 100 - Class 1 (suitable for infant clothing).
