Prolen® Siltex fibre Slovak fibre Prolen® Siltex, treated with an antibacterial additive based on silver ions, has been produced by Chemosvit Fibrochem, s.r.o. since 2004 and is certified according to Standard 100 by Oekotex, class 1 (suitable for the production of infant clothing). The antibacterial properties of Prolen® Siltex fibre are confirmed by the VÚTCH - CHEMITEX certificate according to AATCC 100:2019 (it has been tested for Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria), the test protocol from VÚTCH - CHEMITEX according to ASTM E2149-13a (it has been tested for Escherichia coli bacteria). Polypropylene fibre Prolen®, which has been produced in Slovakia since 1970 by Chemosvit Fibrochem, s.r.o. Prolen® fibre has excellent thermal insulation properties, is the lightest of all fibres (40% lighter than cotton), the fastest of all fibres to move moisture away from the skin towards the next absorbent layer or the surrounding area (wick effect).
