Antimicrobial printed beaked drape black We recommend washing the drape before the first use. Type: Textile woven double-layered drape - beaked shape Size: Women's - 20x14 cm + 14 cm elastics Men's - 20x15 cm + 18 cm elastics The drapes are free of PVC, phthalates, BPA or formaldehyde. They meet the strictest REACH and OEKO-TEX standards, the standard for infants. Antimicrobial beaked drape with black Prolen® Medical series printed drapes are tested and certified according to EN14683+AC:2019, as Type II with a bacterial filtration efficiency of more than 98% and meet the health safety requirements according to the current legislation of the Slovak Republic and European Union. The antimicrobial additive is homogeneously distributed in the mass of Prolen® Siltex and Prolen® Bodyfresh polypropylene fibers with effectiveness throughout the lifetime of the final product. The active ingredient with silver ions and zinc provides effective ANTIVIRAL AND ANTIMICROBIAL protection, reduces unpleasant odours, ensures hygienic freshness and cleanliness and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. The antimicrobial additive in Prolen® Siltex and Prolen® Bodyfresh is permanent, does not leach into your skin and does not wash into wastewater as it does in surface antimicrobial treated fabrics such as cotton or polyester. The Prolen® Medical product line complies with EN13975-1 (surgical drapes, gowns and clean air garments used as medical devices for patients, medical staff and equipment) and is designed for the control and management of infectious environments in the hospital setting with a major impact on infections associated with medical and nursing care. Recommended Use:
The product is suitable for protection for casual wear in case of illness, during operations, handling in medical facilities, etc. Its material composition provides increased protection against viruses and bacteria. It prevents the penetration of foreign substances to the skin. The product is easily washable even from chemical stains and grease with easy and quick drying and without the need for ironing. It is low maintenance.
Instructions for use:
Covering the mouth and nose in people with possible respiratory disease helps prevent the spread of the disease to their surroundings. It also protects you from unwanted touches to your own nose and mouth through possible contamination of your hands. The Prolen® Medical drape is suitable for multiple uses, can be washed at temperatures up to 60°C and can use different types of detergents and disinfectants. It is advisable to wash and disinfect the drape frequently during the flu season. It maintains its functionality throughout its lifespan. It retains its colour even after multiple washings. Ensures maximum comfort for the user. Prolen® fibre is hydrophobic and absorbs only 0.01% moisture (cotton 8-10%), thus ensuring a dry and clean environment around the mouth and nose. The Prolen® Medical drape is breathable.
Recommended treatments:
Prolen® Medical drapes can be washed and sterilized several times until they are mechanically damaged. Washing: between 40°C and 90°C, recommended temperature 70°C Detergent: any type, disinfectants including chlorine are allowed do not use fabric softener to preserve the hydrophobicity of the product Drying: fast drying, zero water absorption Dryer: recommended temperature 40°C / max. 75°C duration: max 5-10 minutes ( depending on load) Drying tunnel: recommendation 70°C, 3-5 minutes Ironing: do not iron directly Sterilization: max. up to 135°C For more information, please visit www.prolenmedical.sk.www.prolenmedical.sk
